Welcome! There are 3 main reasons why this website as a blog was created;

Reason #1: To share knowledge as an AWS Solutions Architect

When curiosity, change, and opportunity meet at the crossroads, there is usually a reward waiting to be recognized and captured. Such is the case that provoked the launch of this new venture. As an initial example, this blog exists as evidence of Project AWS > GO. As a compressed overview, wearing my AWS Solutions Architect hat, I have utilized several AWS Services outlined here within;

  • designing an IT system architecture utilizing Amazon Web Services solutions
  • transferring domain registration from GoDaddy to Amazon Route 53
  • designing a wireframe for this byronhenryjr.com blog
  • support maintenance and design service upgrades
  • Integrated Amazon WorkMail as a business email and calendar service

Reason #2: To explore and share breakthroughs in emerging technologies

I am extremely passionate about creativity, innovation, and evolution in the information technology space. This is by no means to suggest that I should be considered a ‘Geek’ or ‘Techie.’ On the contrary, I make the distinction between being driven by the ‘technologies’ rather than by the cultural and societal needs, and business ‘solutions’ that such technologies should address. There is an opportunity for us to be more proactive with discussions with and such discoveries, development solving problems.

Reason #3: To remain applicably relevant through Internet domain presence

As I have shared in my abbreviated biographical profile, in about 1998, I began to explore online business opportunities. Beginning with HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), then to Microsoft FrontPage as a WYSIWYG editor, I designed several online solutions. I was met with a particular technological challenge. how to serve data as dynamic query results.

This project continues a generational effort and adaptation in showcasing cutting-edge technological solutions. As of this publication, it sure is great to highlight that this project is powered by AWS.
